Black Masterbatch
Black Masterbatch is a specific type of polymer masterbatch where the main additive is carbon black, a fine black powder used primarily for coloring and enhancing the properties of plastics.
It’s one of the most widely used color masterbatches, known for its high concentration of carbon black that provides a deep, rich black color to plastic products.
In addition to its coloring function, black masterbatch is used to improve the following properties of plastic materials:
- UV Protection: Carbon black is a highly effective UV stabilizer. It absorbs UV light and prevents degradation of the polymer caused by sun exposure, extending the lifespan of the plastic.
